For August we’ve been out and about again, this time helping the Lisieux Way Community Garden create a new and improved pond. The Community Garden is a 5 minute walk from the office and tucked away behind the Methodist Church and Tesco Express.
For this pledge we dispatched 3 members of staff to help the Community Garden committee increase the size of the pond and lay a new pond liner, provided by us. They had a great morning and I’m pleased to say that the pond is now looking great. We hope that the pond will encourage wildlife in the area and allow the garden to continue to be a peaceful and relaxing space for the whole community to enjoy.
